can a lawyer receive advocate’s fees in money equivalents, even though at the time when the agreement on attorneys fees was concluded the law had not yet allowed this? This question was discussed recently by the district Court Judge, Arie Romanov. Romanov ruled that the answer is positive, provided the demand for payment in money equivalents was made after the amendment to the law.
